European Centre for Culture and Debate - Grad (The City )

Thanks to the hospitality of Savski Venac municipality,  Cultural Center GRAD  is  situated in a building that dates back to 1884. in Bra?e Krsmanovi? street, a part of Sava River Amphitheater.  Having changed purpose through the decades – before WW2 it was a parquet storage place belonging to Josip Rendeli from Karlovci and lately was used by Centrotextil as a storage facility – the building will now host a 150 m2 gallery, a fully equipped conference hall for 100 people, a presentation and training hall, a small design gallery as well as a space for concerts and plays.

GRAD presents  debates with European politicians, young entrepreneurs, contemporary artists, journalists, as well as a regional Summer School for cultural managers, festivals of European film and art and various cultural programmes. GRAD is  the place of connecting cultures, exchanging different ideas and opinions: a place open for art and culture for the citizens of Belgrade and beyond.
